This Privacy Policy explains how Insight GG LLC, doing business as Insight Esports ("Insight," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Insight Esports mobile application and website at insightesportsapp.com (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Information you provide
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a username. If you sign in with Apple, we receive an identifier and the email address you choose to share (which may be a private relay address).
Profile and preferences. Games you follow, favorite teams, watchlists, and similar settings you configure.
Community content. Messages you post in live chat, poll votes, and other content you submit through the Service.
Support requests. Information you provide when you contact us for help.
Information collected automatically
Usage data. How you interact with the Service, such as features used, predictions viewed, screens visited, and session timing.
Device data. Device type, operating system version, app version, language, and general technical identifiers needed to operate the app.
Approximate location. Derived from your IP address for regional content and security purposes. We do not collect precise GPS location.
Push notification tokens. If you enable notifications, a device token used to deliver them.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide, maintain, and operate the Service, including live stats, schedules, predictions, polls, and chat;
Create and manage your account and authenticate you;
Generate personalized features such as weekly reports for premium subscribers;
Process subscriptions and manage premium access;
Send you service-related and, where permitted, promotional notifications you can opt out of;
Operate points, leaderboards, badges, and other engagement features;
Monitor, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
Understand how the Service is used so we can improve it;
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:
Service providers. With vendors who process data on our behalf to run the Service (for example, hosting, analytics, payment processing, and notification delivery), under contracts that limit their use of your data.
Other users. Your username and any community content you post are visible to other users of the Service.
Legal and safety. When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Insight, our users, or the public.
Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers to function. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies:
Esports data providers (such as Riot Games and other match-data sources) supply the professional match, team, and player statistics shown in the app. We display this data; we do not collect personal data on your behalf from these providers.
Apple for Sign in with Apple and App Store in-app purchases.
Stripe for web-based subscription payments.
Anthropic (Claude API) to generate premium weekly report content. We send relevant statistical context to generate these reports; we do not send your password, payment details, or contact information.
Analytics and infrastructure providers that help us host and improve the Service.
5. Community content
Live chat, polls, and other community features let you share content publicly with other users. Please do not post sensitive personal information. We may moderate, remove, or restrict content and accounts that violate our terms or applicable law. Content you post may remain visible to others until removed.
6. Payments & subscriptions
Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple (for in-app purchases) or Stripe (for web subscriptions). We do not collect or store your full payment card details; those are handled directly by the applicable payment processor. We receive limited information such as subscription status and transaction confirmations needed to manage your premium access.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain information longer where required for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
8. Your rights & choices
Access and update. You can view and update much of your account information within the app's settings.
Delete your account. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data from within the app or by contacting us.
Notifications. You can turn push notifications on or off in your device settings.
Marketing. You can opt out of promotional messages while still receiving essential service communications.
9. California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access to or deletion of that information, to correct inaccurate information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. 10. EEA & UK rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR, including the rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Our legal bases for processing include performing our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, and compliance with legal obligations. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
11. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
12. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and secure storage of credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
